I have always enjoyed nature and everything she has to offer, and I found that nature isn't complicated if you are willing to slow down and pay attention. When I finally decided to do that, I discovered that there is so much potential in continually learning for the benefit of myself and my friends and family.
I have spent the better part of the last 5 years reading, taking notes and researching all there is out there on our planet that can help me become less dependent on others and more dependent on mother earth and myself. I stared slowly and then began to created notebooks after notebooks that I kept to myself for a long time for the fear people would think I had gone crazy on them. In my notebooks I was writing down just the basics of what I was learning about common kitchen herbs and spices then I started making teas with them.
It wasn't till my husband pulled something in his back that I worked with herbs and remedies on someone besides myself. He allowed me, due to his pain, to whip up something so he could feel better and when I did, he allowed me to make him a tea and apply a poultice and within 30 minutes he was actually able to get out of bed and the pain was almost gone. From there I went on to talking to my friends when the opportunity would arise about what I was able to do and now here I am.
What I want to create here for everyone isn't just about herbs and nature but also create a place we I can be an inspiration to you in creating a balanced life in a crazy busy world. While taking the time to learn about my herbs and the environment I learned some things about myself and how I have survived and worked with my senses and didn't know it. I am a practical, organized person and I am always a thinking type of person and if there is a way, I will find it. I remember a childhood song that I loved as a kid, and I think maybe it has been my lifelong mantra and it took me this many years to realize it. I believe that no matter the situation you find yourself in there is always a way to get you to your end goal. It begins with the little stuff. It is taking into account your routines, and thought process, and your knowledge of how mind, body, and spirit play a role in how your life proceeds. You may not like where it is you take your life sometimes but the things you go thru and learn from in the process helps build you into the person it takes to make your life your own.
I want to help you to find the potential you have to turn a crazy busy life of unknowns into a busy life that actually moves you forward with ease. With the help of herbs and daily life changes you can transform your mind, body and soul into a well-oiled machine. In late 2020, I was diagnosed with stenosis in two places on my back. It was so painful that I could barely move my head. The doctors gave me some pills and they did help with the movement. But the pain was still there. I was ready to return to the doctor for possible surgery because of so much pain. It may still come to that.
